Anushri Arora

Anushri Arora is a research intern at Basis and a PhD candidate at Princeton University, advised by Jonathan Pillow. Her research asks how biological and artificial agents learn internal models that support prediction, exploration, and decision-making. She is particularly interested in how uncertainty during learning helps agents infer the structure of their environment and task, and how this shapes observed behavior. To this end, she develops methods using dynamical systems, Bayesian inference, and reinforcement learning.
